I decided to Rappel for Cancer, something I have been wanting to do for a couple of years.  I was inspired after meeting with a 90-year-old athlete who was rappelling for a friend and who also had prostate cancer.  The following month in 2018 my Dad was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer, and the last few years were extremely difficult for him.  He passed in November of 2021 at the age of 85.

I am fund-raising for the Cancer League of Colorado.  The organization is volunteers-only and all donations go towards cancer research and support.  My Dad was able to get help with his medication costs through a grant which was one less thing for him to worry about.  I have known many people that have struggled with cancer; therefore, I would like to dedicate this experience to them as well the families of friends who have or had this terrible disease.

In honor of my Dad I will be bringing Piglet, my Dad's golf club cover.

Thank you so much for your support,
